Create a Micro Sim Card from a Normal Sim Card

There will be many cutomers who are put off the iPad and new iPhone 4 due to the high contract costs offered by mobile companies.
So is there a way around these? Well, yes there is!
There is a simple way to cut your regular sim card for use on an unlocked iPad or iPhone 4.
So here’s our little how to guide:
You will need:
- 1x iPhone 4 or iPad (unlocked)
- 1x standard SIM card (Why not get a Free Sim card?!)
- 1x pokey-pokey device
- 1x scissors

- Remove the Sim card holder and investigate. Check the sizes and placing of the card.
- Use sissors to cut your sim to size. Start roughly then trim it down.
- Your micro SIM should measure 15 by 12mm
- Enter back into the holder and into your device.

Moment of truth… You will either see your network in the top left, or an error message saying “No SIM Installed”. If you get a few Free Sim Cards then you can just try again.
And your done! You get one working iPhone 4 or iPad with none of the expensive contract costs! You can use your current mobile contract sim, a current PAYG sim or get a new free sim.

While the deal is meant to be Mon-Thurs, you can keep the rentals for 2 nights, so do it on Thursday and you’re set for Friday.

Text a special number and you’ll be sent a code enabling you to get two new release movies or games plus sweets, popcorn and a 2 litre bottle of fizzy pop. Yet the loophole is anyone can pick up a free T-mobile sim card and access the deal. You can then get the unlimited deal every week.

Once you’ve got it, all you need to do is text ‘NIGHT IN’ to 3000 for free any time and you’ll receive a code you’ll need to show at the Blockbuster check out. (If you’re not already a Blockbuster member, you’ll need to register, it’s free). After six months you’ll either need to top up or get a new free sim as it will expire if not credited. Yet provided free sim cards are still available, you can simply get a new one.
With the £5 deal you get:
- Two movies or one movie & one video game. For 2 nights. Includes DVDs, Blu-Rays and new releases, though box-sets are excluded.
- One pack of Blockbuster sweets. Choose from vanilla fudge, chocolate crispies, nougat, toffee bon bons and chocolate fudge.
- One pack of Blockbuster popcorn. Choose from sweet, salted or toffee popcorn.
- 2 litre bottle of Blockbuster soft drink. Choose between cola and diet cola.
